Malee

About Malee

Seagulls are coastal or inland birds, rarely venturing far out to sea. Seagulls are resourceful and highly intelligent, demonstrating complex methods of communication and a highly developed social structure.

[MAL’ee] / derived from the name of the capital of Maldives, Male

Malee loves living on an island! There are so many fun things to do, like building sandcastles, swimming in the ocean, hunting for seashells, and fishing with her friends. Nonetheless, Malee also knows the dangers of living on an island. A few years ago, a tsunami (a really big wave of water) hit her country, Maldives, and caused a lot of damage. Malee hopes that one day she will be able to share about Jesus openly with her neighbors.

Islam

The people who follow the religion of Islam are called Muslims. They believe in one supreme God but don’t know that Jesus is God’s Son who was sent to die for their sins. Muslims consider Jesus to be Isa, a prophet and teacher but not God or the promised Savior.
