Evangelical Christianity
Evangelical Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died to pay the price for Man’s sin. They believe He came back to life three days after His death and then went to Heaven, where He waits for His followers to join Him. An Evangelical Christian must decide at some point in their life to actively follow Christ, and this decision usually includes a prayer saying you are a sinner and asking for forgiveness.
Evangelical Christians often attend either a traditional church or a house church. They value both worship with other believers and time spent alone with God in prayer. Yet, one of their major beliefs is that each follower must share their faith in Christ with others. Evangelical Christians believe the story of Jesus is so special the whole world must know about it.
